These feathers will shed as soon as you take them out of the bag just like all feather boas. If you are

afraid of mess, take the boa out of the bag over a trash can or outdoor where you don’t have to clean up

the mess. Let the boa hang for a couple days for it to breathe so it will fluff out. If you do not have the

time, you can put them into a dryer and fluff them for about 20 minutes. You can also use hair dryer to

fluff them up as they have been compacted in the package.
